Last weekend, Rosemary Myers’ directorial debut won the top prize at CinefestOZ, the richest prize of any Australian festival. This coming-of-age story follows Greta Driscoll (Bethany Whitmore) as her surprise 15th birthday party has an adverse effect on her life. Set in 1970s Australia, the film combines fantasy and musical elements to breathe cinematic life into what began in 2014 as a play written by Matthew Whittet.
