Sort of an inverse Katamari Damacy, the amusing indie PS4/PC/iOS puzzler Donut County is not actually about donuts (d'oh!), but one of their key features: holes. Specifically, you control a literal hole in the ground that swallows up various objects and portions of the colorful, stylized Southern California landscape. With every object swallowed, your hole grows bigger, adding to the complexity. (Hint: some items must be swallowed up before others.) Advance playthroughs have elicited praise for this solo, years-in-the-making title from designer Ben Esposito.
