Movie debuts October 28 on Netflix
Daniel Brühl and Felix Kammerer star in the first German feature film adaptation of Erich Maria Remarque’s harrowing WWI novel (which also served as the source for the Oscar-winning 1930 movie of the same name). While the new film, directed by Edward Berger (Deutschland 83), may not reach quite the same heights, critics definitely had praise for the "visceral" and "visually spectacular" anti-war tale when it debuted at TIFF a few weeks ago. It'll also play in theaters beginning October 7th.
