Movie debuts October 21 on Prime Video
The new film from Argentinian writer-director Santiago Mitre (The Student, Paulina) dramatizes the Trial of the Juntas from the perspective of prosecutors Julio Strassera (Ricardo Darín of The Secret in Their Eyes and Truman) and Luis Moreno Ocampo (Peter Lanzani of The Clan) as they try bring a military dictatorship to justice. Critics praised Argentina, 1985's blend of political thriller and courtroom drama when the film debuted in competition at Venice a few weeks back, and it will be Argentina's official submission to the Academy Awards this year.
