Miniseries debuts November 28 on Nat Geo (and November 29 on Hulu)
Though the original Hot Zone miniseries was based on a single book (and a real-life incident), Nat Geo has turned it into an ongoing anthology series that will no longer have any connection to Richard Preston's best-seller. Instead, this second season is set amidst the mail-based anthrax attacks in the United States in the months following 9/11, and recounts the FBI's search for the suspect responsible. Tony Goldwyn, Daniel Dae Kim, Harry Hamlin (playing anchorman Tom Brokaw), and Dylan Baker star in the six-hour series, which will air across three consecutive nights (with each episode also streaming the following day on Hulu).
