Miniseries debuts November 24 on Netflix
It may star Kevin Hart as a comedian, but True Story is neither a comedy nor a true story. The seven-episode dramatic miniseries finds Hart playing "Kid," whose tour stop in his hometown of Philadelphia turns into a matter of life and death after an eventful evening on the town with his older brother (Wesley Snipes). The series comes from Narcos (and Narcos: Mexico) showrunner Eric Newman and also stars Tawny Newsome, Paul Adelstein, Will Catlett, Chris Diamantopoulos, and Billy Zane.
