Halle Berry makes her directorial debut and stars as a disgraced MMA fighter battling for both a career revival and custody of her son. Netflix picked up the film last fall for a reported $20 million when it debuted as a work-in-progress (hence no early reviews) at TIFF and will give it an awards push by also opening Bruised in theaters beginning November 17.
