Movie debuts November 3 on Netflix
Also playing now in theaters, this debut film from British director Jeymes Samuel is a "new-school" western with a top-notch cast. The often comedic, stylish, and fast-paced film (co-written by Boaz Yakin, Now You See Me) follows an outlaw (Jonathan Majors) who enlists a posse to track down and seek revenge against his nemesis (Idris Elba) when the latter is released from prison. Delroy Lindo, Zazie Beetz, LaKeith Stanfield, Regina King, Edi Gathegi, R.J. Cyler, and Damon Wayans Jr. also star. Critics gave the film generally good marks when it debuted a few weeks ago at the London Film Festival, with the word "entertaining" popping up in nearly every review. Frankly, "entertaining" sounds pretty good right about now.
