60 The L Word: Generation Q: Season 1

Series debuts December 8 on Showtime. This follow-up to the 2004-09 drama series The L Word returns cast members Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey, who are joined by new characters played by Arienne Mandi, Leo Sheng, Rosanny Zayas, and more. Showtime is pairing the Los Angeles-set series with another lesbian-centered newcomer: Work in Progress, a comedy from Chicago comedians Abby McEnany and Tim Mason and director Lilly Wachowski (here serving as co-writer and producer) that centers on a middle-aged lesbian (McEnany) who gives herself 180 days to fix her life, and may have found a way to do just that with a new relationship. Julia Sweeney also stars.
