21 TV Shows to Watch in November and December
In the gallery above, our editors have selected the most interesting TV shows (including TV movies and specials) debuting during the final months of 2019, listed in order by premiere date.
Miniseries debuts November 22 on Hulu. Jack Thorne, the creator of the acclaimed UK limited drama series National Treasure and Kiri, returns with a third miniseries titled The Accident (once again airing on Hulu in the States, though it is unclear whether or not it will be listed under that title or under the National Treasure name as Kiri was). This time, the story deals with the aftermath of a tragic event in Wales (with echoes of the Grenfell Tower fire) that impacts an entire community. Sarah Lancashire (Happy Valley) and Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen) head the cast, and reviews were good following the show's UK premiere last week, when The Guardian called it "thoughtful and wholly absorbing." (There were complaints by viewers about the actors' poor Welsh accents, but we Americans likely won't notice.)
