The tentatively titled Project Octopath Traveler is a Switch-exclusive adventure RPG from Square Enix—specifically, the team behind Bravely Default. A demo released last fall revealed impressive, highly stylized graphics that blended 2D and 3D, retro and modern into what the developers have deemed "HD-2D." Choose from eight characters, each with their own unique abilities, origin stories, and goals. Combat features a modernized take on turn-based battles that incorporates additional strategy in the form of "Boosts" that must be built up over the game and deployed at the right time.
