Most Anticipated Video Games of 2016, Part 2: New IP and Indie Releases
Earlier this week, we previewed the most-anticipated videogame sequels and remakes coming in 2016. These newcomers may not yet have the name recognition that the established franchises have earned, but will hopefully bring something fresh and original to game consoles (and PCs) this year.
Ninja Theory, the studio behind DmC: Devil May Cry, is aiming for an AAA game on an indie budget with their new hack-and-slash game inspired by Celtic mythology. Featuring third-person combat, Hellblade has you play as the mentally ill warrior Senua, whose psychosis takes on an increasingly frightening, physical form as she must literally battle her own demons.
