With two big-time movies starring primates—Kong: Skull Island and War for the Planet of the Apes—bowing in 2017, we thought it was time to rank all of the monkey movies of the past 25 years by Metascore.
Led by Caesar, a group of genetically-altered apes are threatened by a group of humans trying to survive.
This sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes was proclaimed “dynamite entertainment” by Rolling Stone.
