With two big-time movies starring primates—Kong: Skull Island and War for the Planet of the Apes—bowing in 2017, we thought it was time to rank all of the monkey movies of the past 25 years by Metascore.
After menacing tiger Shere Khan (Idris Elba) threatens to kill him, “man cub” Mowgli (Neel Sethi) embarks on a journey through the jungle.
CineVue called this 2016 live-action remake of the Disney classic an “immersive, visually breathtaking family adventure.”
