Monkey movies are making a comeback.
With two big-time movies starring primates—Kong: Skull Island and War for the Planet of the Apes—bowing in 2017, we thought it was time to rank all of the monkey movies of the past 25 years by Metascore.
The third entry in the Kung Fu Panda franchise is also the lowest-rated on Metacritic. In Kung Fu Panda 3, Po (Jack Black) must train a village of clumsy pandas.
The Austin Chronicle said this 2016 film was a “visually stunning picture.”
