Season 13 debuts May 6 on The Gizmoplex
We've got movie sign! Following a recent two-season comeback on Netflix, the beloved 1990s movie-riffing series returns again, this time for a crowdfunded, self-produced 13th season that will be exclusive to MST3K's new streaming service The Gizmoplex. Also launching to the general public on May 6th, The Gizmoplex allows anyone to rent individual episodes from the first 10 seasons (though to celebrate the launch all past episodes will be completely free to everyone for a limited time) or pay for a subscription that will bring all of the new 13th season as it rolls out over the remainder of 2022. The first three new full-length episodes (featuring the "classics" Santo in the Treasure of Dracula, Robot Wars, and Beyond Atlantis) will go live over the weekend of May 6-8, to be followed by 10 additional full-length episodes (including Munchie, The Batwoman, the first-ever MST3K 3D episode, yet another Gamera film, and holiday movie The Christmas Dragon) as well as a dozen new shorts. The cast from the Netflix seasons (including Patton Oswalt, Felicia Day, Baron Vaughn, and Hampton Yount) returns, but hosting duties will be split between Jonah Ray, newcomer (but MST3K live show veteran) Emily Marsh, and original host Joel Hodgson, who will return to riff as Joel Robinson for the first time since season 5.
