Sketch comedy series debuts May 13 on Prime Video
Thirty Helens agree: This is good news for comedy fans. All five members of the original cast—Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson—return for a revival of one of the most beloved sketch comedy shows of all time. The original Kids in the Hall series, which evolved out of the comedy troupe's live performances, ran on Canada's CBC (with later airings in the States on HBO and CBS) for 102 episodes from 1988 to 1995, and the troupe has reunited for live tours, a feature film, and a Canadian miniseries in the years since. Now, Prime Video will be the home of eight all-new episodes of headcrushing fun that will find the quintet joined by an array of guests including Catherine O'Hara, Fred Armisen, Pete Davidson, Kenan Thompson, Will Forte, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jay Baruchel, Samantha Bee, and Eddie Izzard, among others. In addition, a two part documentary about the troupe, The Kids in the Hall: Comedy Punks, will stream on Prime Video beginning May 20.
