Miniseries debuts May 9 on Hulu
Featuring an old-school miniseries rollout schedule with one new episode airing nightly across five consecutive nights, Hulu's true-crime series stars Jessica Biel (a replacement for the originally cast Elisabeth Moss) as Candy Montgomery, the 1980s suburban Texas housewife and mother who was living a seemingly comfortable life when she suddenly entered the headlines by murdering her friend Betty Gore (Melanie Lynskey) with an ax. Pablo Schreiber and Timothy Simons also star in the series, which comes from Robin Veith and Nick Antosca (The Act).
