New drama series debuts May 7 on Netflix. This eight-episode adaptation of the 2013 comic book series by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely comes from Steven S. DeKnight (Pacific Rim: Uprising, Marvel's Daredevil), though he was replaced as showrunner midway through production, with The Walking Dead writer Sang Kyu Kim taking over in his stead. Josh Duhamel, Ben Daniels, and Leslie Bibb head the cast for a story that revolves around the present-day offspring of the world's first superheroes, who received their powers in the early 1900s. (The first season will split its time between both periods.) More Netflix projects based on the work of Millar will follow in the coming years.
