New anthology series debuts May 21 on Prime Video. Amazon's mysterious seven-episode anthology series (from Hunters creator David Weil) aims to explore "the deeper meaning of human connection." What that actually amounts to is unknown at this point, since the streamer is intentionally withholding plot details, but it certainly sounds Black Mirror-ish, with sci-fi storylines involving time travel, memory transplants, artificial intelligence, smart homes, and more. Individual episodes will feature Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, Nicole Beharie, Uzo Aduba, Anthony Mackie, Constance Wu, Jack Quaid, and Dan Stevens, while directors include Weil, Sam Taylor-Johnson, and Zach Braff.
