The latest documentary from director Amir Bar-Lev (Happy Valley, The Tillman Story) chronicles the 30-year career of the Grateful Dead in a mere 242 minutes. Coming to theaters this month before arriving as a miniseries on Amazon Prime on June 2nd, the film “has the sprawl and generosity of a good Dead show,” according to Variety’s Owen Gleiberman.
