It has been almost four years since audiences last saw Keanu Reeves’ John Wick in theaters. While the positive critical consensus was about the same for John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, the box office nearly doubled, suggesting that the franchise has plenty left in the tank. (So much so, in fact, that there's not only a planned spinoff film with Ana de Armas titled Ballerina but also a TV series spinoff The Continental, which is set in 1975 and finds Colin Woodell playing a young Winston). As far as Baba Yaga’s adventure this time around, it begins as Chapter 3 ended, with him and Laurence Fishburne’s The Bowery King joining forces against the High Table. Ian McShane and Lance Reddick return, and a new opponent presents himself in the form of Bill Skarsgård’s Marquis. Also joining the fun are Hiroyuki Sanada, Donnie Yen, Rina Sawayama, and Scott Adkins. Prior to sitting down to enjoy all the creative kills, make sure to empty your bladder because this is the longest Wick film yet at two hours and forty-nine minutes.
