▣ Drive My Car (2021) - HBO Max, 3/2
Centering on a Japanese theater director grieving the loss of his wife, Ryûsuke Hamaguchi's adaptation of a Haruki Murakami short story may just be the best film released in 2021—at least, that's what numerous critic groups (including the New York Film Critics Circle and Los Angeles Film Critic Association) think. Catch it now on HBO Max ahead of the Oscars, when it is competing for four awards including Best Picture.
