Anthology series debuts March 6 on Apple TV+. One of the very first projects announced for Apple's streaming service (yes, it really does exist—we promise) was this reboot of the Twilight Zone-influenced Steven Spielberg anthology series that was first developed for NBC, home of the original Amazing Stories in the mid-1980s. The new version comes from producers and Once Upon a Time veterans Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (replacing Bryan Fuller, the original showrunner who left due to creative differences—i.e., an unwillingness to bend to Apple's preferences for family-friendly fare) and will include stand-alone episodes directed by Mark Mylod, Michael Dinner, Susanna Fogel, and more. Stars include Josh Holloway, Dylan O'Brien, Sasha Alexander, Kerry Bishé, Edward Burns, and Robert Forster (in his final performance). Five episodes will be available to stream immediately, with another five expected later this year.
