Season 4 debuts March 24 on Pop. In 2017, a then-94-year-old Norman Lear brought a new version of his 1970s sitcom One Day at a Time to Netflix, this team featuring a mostly Latinx cast led by Justina Machado and Rita Moreno. The result was one of the most critically acclaimed shows in Netflix history—only for the streaming service to cancel the show after three seasons. But last summer the cable network Pop (best known for Schitt's Creek, which will lead in to One Day) stepped in to rescue the series, and the result is this new 13-episode fourth season, which retains everything from the Netflix series except the opening theme song (which has been eliminated due to the need for shorter episode lengths).
