Season 2 ("The Story of a New Name") debuts March 16 on HBO. HBO's first Italian-language series drew excellent reviews when it debuted in late 2018. Now comes the second of four planned seasons, each corresponding to a novel in Elena Ferrante's Neapolitan coming-of-age series. Set in the 1960s, "The Story of a New Name" returns much of the main cast from that first season (including Margherita Mazzucco as Elena and Gaia Girace as Lila) and adds Alice Rohrwacher (Happy as Lazzaro) as one of the directors.
