Season 3 debuts June 2 on Hulu
The Orville didn't receive terrific reviews when it first debuted on Fox in the fall of 2017, but the Seth MacFarlane-created (and -starring) sci-fi comedy eventually earned a devoted following for not just being a spot-on Star Trek spoof but a loving homage to that franchise—and the closest TV has come to matching the spirit and format of Star Trek: TOS since Star Trek: The Next Generation. (In fact, it took until this spring for Paramount itself to finally figure out that this is what longtime Trek fans wanted.) Now, the series jumps to Hulu (under a new title, The Orville: New Horizons) for its first new season in three years. Season 3 will feature the final performances by the late Norm Macdonald (returning as the voice of Yaphit), while new faces include Anne Winters and Babylon 5 star Bruce Boxleitner.
