Animated movie debuts June 18 on Disney+
Set in a fictional town on the Italian Riviera (think somewhere in the Cinque Terre area), Pixar's sole 2021 release and 24th feature overall is an original story centering on a pair of teenage sea monsters, voiced by Jacob Tremblay and Jack Dylan Grazer, who seek to learn more about the world above the surface. The debut film from director Enrico Casarosa also features the voices of Maya Rudolph and Jim Gaffigan. Originally planned (like most Pixar films) as a theatrical release, Luca now follows in the footsteps of last year's Soul as a streaming exclusive in the United States.
