14 Films to See in June
June will bring more than just the usual assortment of explosions and CGI effects to the cineplex. There are promising new films from Edgar Wright, Sofia Coppola, and Bong Joon-ho, an unusually large number of well-reviewed indie comedies, and a terrific new horror film. There's also something even more rare: a good DC Comics film. Find details on these and all of June's most notable releases below.
Lost in Paris is the fourth collaboration between filmmakers Dominique Abel and Fiona Gordon. The film follows Canadian librarian Fiona (Gordon) as she travels to Paris to visit her aunt Martha (Emmanuelle Riva). When she reaches Paris, she discovers that Martha has disappeared and is joined on her adventures by a irrepressible tramp (Abel). Get on the film’s wavelength and it might be the most charming comedy one sees all summer.
