Written by The Lonely Island comedy trio of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, this spoof of modern pop stardom follows clueless singer/rapper Conner4Real (Samberg) as his sophomore album flops, forcing him to reunite with his old boy band. The talent involved have produced hilarious shorts, but their feature work (Hot Rod, MacGruber) has been hit and miss so far.
