Drama series debuts July 23 on Paramount+
Though he hasn't yet reached the level of a Greg Berlanti or Dick Wolf, Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan has been launching new shows at an impressive rate over the past five years. And the first of what could be two or three newcomers for Sheridan this year is Lioness, which dramatizes a real-life CIA program to train female undercover operatives. Zoe Saldaña plays the CIA station chief who recruits a young Marine (Laysla De Oliveira) to infiltrate a terrorist organization. Nicole Kidman plays a high-ranking CIA official, while the cast also includes Morgan Freeman, Michael Kelly, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, and Stephanie Nur.
