Final episodes begin airing July 11 on AMC

What fate awaits Kim Wexler? (And, for that matter, Lalo Salamanca? And future Cinnabon manager Gene Takavic?) And how will the promised guest appearances from Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston (plus Carol Burnett!) work into the storyline? You don't have to wait much longer to find out: The first of Better Call Saul's final six episodes airs in just a few weeks, beginning a countdown to the series finale on August 15. AMC has been understandably tight-lipped about the show's final hours (refusing to release even a single promo photo taken from these final episodes), but a rough cut of the upcoming return episode—a Lalo-centered hour directed by Vince Gilligan—recently screened at Tribeca, where the early reaction suggests that Better Call Saul isn't going to give up its title of best drama on television until after its final episode has aired.
