Drama/sci-fi series debuts July 29 on Prime Video
Is this Amazon's answer to Stranger Things? Camryn Jones, Riley Lai Nelet, Sofia Rosinsky, and Fina Strazza star in an adaptation of the comics by Brian K. Vaughan. Set in 1988 (at least to start), the coming-of-age sci-fi adventure follows four newspaper delivery girls who head out on their routes one fall morning but accidentally find themselves caught in a battle between warring time travelers—one that throws them into the future, where (when?) they must save the world and find a way back home. Halt and Catch Fire co-creator Christopher C. Rogers is the showrunner, and additional cast members include Ali Wong and Nate Corddry. All eight episodes stream on day one.
