Dramedy series debuts July 28 on Peacock
Is this Peacock's answer to The White Lotus? Created by Palm Springs and Lodge 49 writer Andy Siara, darkly comedic thriller The Resort follows a not entirely happy married couple on an anniversary trip to the Yucatan, where they find themselves caught up in a bizarre unsolved mystery that occurred 15 years earlier. William Jackson Harper, Cristin Milioti, Nick Offerman, and Skyler Gisondo star, while High Maintenance star and co-creator Ben Sinclair not only guest stars but directs four episodes and produces (alongside other producers including Mr. Robot's Sam Esmail). The half-hour series kicks off with a triple-episode premiere.
