Out July 16 for Switch
One of Nintendo's most storied franchises is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. Of course, you'll have to wait until next year for an all-new Zelda game on the Switch. But this month brings the next-best thing: an HD remaster of the 2011 Wii release Skyward Sword, one of the best games ever released on that console. If you played that game, don't expect many changes, though there are a few, mainly aimed at making the game less frustrating to play. In addition to the extra pixels, there are a pair of new control schemes for you to choose from—one using the Switch's motion controls, the other sticking to buttons and sticks only. Both should be an improvement over the original Wii remote/nunchuck combo, which was divisive at best.
