14 Films to See in July

In this romantic comedy, former Daily Show correspondent Jessica Williams reunites with her People Places Things writer-director, James C. Strouse, to star as a struggling playwright dealing with a recent break-up with her boyfriend (Lakeith Stanfield) and the possibility of new love with a divorcee (Chris O’Dowd). In good early reviews from Sundance, critics praised Williams’ refreshing lead performance.
