In this adaptation of the graphic novel The Coldest City, Charlize Theron plays secret agent Lorraine Broughton, a combination of James Bond and John Wick. Tasked to deliver a priceless dossier in Berlin, she partners with station chief David Percival (James McAvoy) and takes on every spy that comes her way. Directed by David Leitch (John Wick and Deadpool 2), the film earned praise at its SXSW debut for its action set pieces (especially a “one” take staircase sequence) and Theron’s lead performance.
