Created by the Ted Lasso duo of Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein along with Jason Segel—who also stars, making it is first TV comedy role since the end of How I Met Your Mother—Shrinking is a 10-episode comedy that finds the latter playing a therapist named Jimmy who deals with his own personal grief in a rather unprofessional way: He starts telling patients exactly what he thinks, causing them to make major changes to their lives.
