Comedy series debuts January 25 on Hulu
Flipping the script on the usual superhero series, Extraordinary is set in a world where every single person on the planet develops superpowers on their 18th birthday—except for the show's protagonist, Jen (Belfast's Máiréad Tyers), who is 25 and still powerless. The British comedy series comes from the producers of Killing Eve and first-time creator Emma Moran and follows Jen, who shares an East London flat with Carrie (superpower: channeling the dead) and Carrie's boyfriend Kash (power: turning back time) as she navigates 20-something life, a dead-end job at a party store, and a flying on-again, off-again boyfriend.
