Comedy series debuts January 19 on Netflix
Netflix's sequel to the long-running Fox sitcom That '70s Show picks up the action 15 years later in the summer of 1995. Unlike the short-lived dud That '80s Show, the new series is set in the same world as the original show and will feature the return of Red and Kitty Forman, played once again by Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp. (Yes, their basement also returns.) Their teenage granddaughter Leia (Callie Haverda) and her friends—who are visiting on summer break—will be at the center of the story, but many other members of the original cast (including Ashton Kutcher, Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Mila Kunis, and Wilmer Valderrama) will make guest appearances, while Prepon also directs several of the 10 first-season episodes.
