And speaking of comedic murder mysteries: Netflix's eight-episode miniseries (from the creators of Nobodies) is another one—and also a spoof of the psychological thriller genre. Kristen Bell heads the cast (and produces alongside Will Ferrell and others) as a wine-guzzling, broken-hearted woman who believes that she has witnessed a murder while looking outside her window. Tom Riley, Michael Ealy, Mary Holland, and Cameron Britton also star, while directors include Michael Lehmann (Heathers).
