Series debuts January 8 on Freeform. Yes, this Freeform newcomer is indeed a reboot of the 1990s series of the same name, which ran for six seasons on Fox. But there's a timely twist. While the center of the drama is once again a family of five children who must support each other after they lose their parents, this time it is because their restaurant-owning parents are deported to Mexico (rather than dying in a car accident). You can catch the first half of the two-hour premiere a week early (on Jan. 1) via Freeform's app and website and Hulu.
