Season 2 debuts January 17 on Netflix. One of 2019's top newcomers returns for its second season a year after it first debuted. A coming-of-age dramedy set in England, Sex Education stars Gillian Anderson and Asa Butterfield as mother and son. The former plays a noted sex therapist, while Butterfield is Otis, a socially awkward high schooler who nevertheless finds himself following in mom's footsteps by offering advice to his equally clueless fellow students with the help of his classmate Maeve (Emma Mackey). Relationships continue to evolve in season 2, which also finds the school dealing with a chlamydia outbreak.
