Series debuts January 17 on Apple TV+. Apple hasn't exactly come out of the gate strong with its new streaming service, which has produced few if any noteworthy shows in its opening months (despite huge budgets). But the tech giant will be rolling out plenty of new programming throughout 2020, and up first up is an anthology series from the husband and wife team behind The Big Sick, Emily V. Gordon and Kumail Nanjiani, along with Master of None co-creator Alan Yang and The Office's Lee Eisenberg. In its first season (and a second has already been greenlit), Little America will offer eight half-hour tales of the immigrant experience in present-day America, inspired by the true stories reported in the column of the same name at Epic Magazine. Apple is departing from its usual weekly rollout and will make all episodes available to stream at once.
