Drama series debuts February 11 on Netflix
The first series created by Shonda Rhimes under her massive contract with Netflix is based on a New York Magazine article by Jessica Pressler that chronicled the exploits of a Russian scam artist who infiltrated New York's high society by posing as a German heiress named Anna Delvey and ultimately stole millions of dollars. Delvey (real name: Anna Sorokin) is played in the nine-episode series by Julia Garner, while Veep's Anna Chlumsky portrays the journalist who investigates her. Arian Moayed, Laverne Cox, Anna Deavere Smith, Anders Holm, Kate Burton, Jeff Perry, and Katie Lowes also star.
