Movie debuts February 11 on Netflix
The latest colorful but darkly comedic oddity from cult French filmmaker Jean-Pierre Jeunet (Amélie, Delicatessen) is set in the year 2050 when four household robots decide to turn on their bickering owners (and a visiting neighbor) and hold them hostage in their own home. But there's no help coming from outside, as a widespread android uprising appears to be in progress—and those household robots may actually be protecting their owners rather than moving against them. We're hoping this long-in-the-works film is a return to form for a director who hasn't released a feature since 2013's disappointing The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet—the only misfire of his career.
