Movie debuts February 10 on HBO Max
Director Steven Soderbergh's post-"retirement" period continues to be just as fruitful as the first half of his career. His third HBO Max exclusive in the past 14 months (following last year's well-reviewed No Sudden Move and 2020's Let Them All Talk) is a thriller starring Zoe Kravitz as an agoraphobic Seattle tech worker who uncovers digital evidence of a serious crime in the course of her work. After her company ignores what she has uncovered, she must face her fears to report the crime to authorities—at a time when the outside world is teeming with added dangers brought on by the pandemic and widespread protests by activists. Scripted by David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Panic Room), KIMI also stars Robin Givens, Byron Bowers, Jaime Camil, Derek DelGaudio, Erika Christensen, and Rita Wilson.
