Drama series debuts February 4 on Prime Video
Lee Child's Jack Reacher crime novels—previously adapted into a pair of feature films starring Tom Cruise—come to the small screen for the first time in this new Amazon series from Nick Santora (Scorpion, Breakout Kings). The much taller Alan Ritchson takes over the role of Jack Reacher, the former military police investigator turned drifter, who is 6'5" in Child's books. (Tom Cruise, of course, is famously not 6'5".) Unlike either film, this first season is adapted from the first Jack Reacher novel, The Killing Floor. Kristin Kreuk, who appeared with Ritchson in Smallville, also stars, as does Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows). Amazon appears to be adopting a weekly rollout for many of its new shows, but Reacher is a binge, with all eight episodes available on day one.
