Comedy series debuts February 3 on Netflix
Comedic murder mysteries appear to be TV's latest trend, but Netflix's Murderville (adapted from the BAFTA-winning UK series Murder in Successville) sets itself apart with a unique twist. The series stars Will Arnett as a senior police detective who investigates a new murder case each episode. And, in each of the six episodes, he gets a new celebrity partner, played by guest stars Kumail Nanjiani, Conan O'Brien, Annie Murphy, Sharon Stone, Ken Jeong, and Marshawn Lynch. That twist we mentioned? The celebrity guest star isn't given a script, and must improvise their way through the case—and somehow guess the identity of the murderer by the end of the episode.
