13 TV Shows to Watch in February: Better Call Saul, Locke & Key, Hunters, and More
In the gallery above, our editors have selected the most interesting TV shows (including TV movies and specials) debuting this month, listed in order by premiere date.
Two-night Season 5 debut airs February 23 and February 24 on AMC. Yes, it has been a long time: Better Call Saul's fourth season ended in the fall of 2018. So the arrival of season 5 is welcome news, though perhaps it is a mixed blessing, since it will bring us that much closer to the end of what has turned out to be an equally impressive follow-up to one of the all-time great TV shows, Breaking Bad. These 10 new episodes, which will be followed by just one final season next year, will introduce even more characters from Breaking Bad, including the late Robert Forster's Ed and Dean Norris' Hank Schrader (plus his partner Gomez, played again by Steven Michael Quezada). The story will also move closer to that series, with Bob Odenkirk's Jimmy moving fully into his Saul Goodman persona, while Jonathan Banks' Mike will be working as an enforcer for Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito).
Breaking Bad fans who aren't Netflix subscribers can also catch that show's 2019 sequel film, El Camino, in its AMC debut on Sunday, February 16.
